Converting “classic” reports to Business Central
Primarily used by our global network of Dynamics partners, the ForNAV Converter is a tool to convert reports from Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 and NAV 2009 (also known as “classic” or C/SIDE reports) to run on any of the newer versions of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (and Microsoft Dynamics NAV) – both OnPrem and Cloud/SaaS.
With the ForNAV Converter, you can convert reports from "classic" to any of the following versions: Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013, 2013 R2, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central any version, OnPrem or Cloud.
Partners have found that this whole operation can be done in less than a minute. Even for complex reports.

Converting between versions
You can also convert your ForNAV reports between any of the above versions of Dynamics 365 Business Central (or Dynamics NAV), between C/SIDE and AL, and between OnPrem and Cloud or vice versa.
From C/SIDE (txt) to AL
The ForNAV Converter also supports conversion of any C/SIDE object to an AL extension, and you can even keep your reports in RDLC format if you are not ready to migrate to ForNAV reports yet. You can also use a baseline application to create page and table extensions based on the deltas in your C/SIDE code. This means that the ForNAV Converter offers you the added value of being a free, single-step tool to move from C/SIDE to Visual Studio Code development.
